Christmas at the Perego's 2008

We had a great holiday, actually ours was on 12/26 when Lauryn got here. We exchanged presents on Friday night after Hugh and Frankie drove into town with Lauyrn. Santa came and left her presents here as well as her house back home. She even got the same bike twice from Santa! Once at her Mom's house and once here, we hope she can ride it while she is here but the weather today is awful!! Cold and Rainy! Check out the following links to pictures:

Lauryn's 7th Birthday Party

Last weekend we had Lauryn's 7th Birthday Party at our house in Austin!!

She had evacuated for the Hurricane so, we had her here in Austin. She got to see Aunt Jess, Uncle Matt, Nana, Pa, Daddy and the rest of the family who was evacuated also.

Austin's Park and Pizza

Today, ok after the last two posts, we went to Austin's Park and Pizza. A great big THANKS goes out to the Blanchards for letting us know Tuesday was everyone pays kids price :) Lauryn loved it!! We got to eat pizza (yeah!) ride go Karts, play mini golf, ride the bumper boats, etc. Check out the pictures and the videos. It was an awesome day!

Swim the Deep End

Watch Lauryn swim across the Deep end (12 feet deep) by herself!!! The instuctor kept her noodle near her, but Lauryn choose to swim without it!!! :)

Round Rock Express Game

Last night we took Lauryn to her first Pro Basesball Game at the Dell Diamond. It was the Round Rock express against the Nashville Sounds. She had a great time! She said her favorite part was the home runs and the fireworks they had when their was a home run.

Lauryn in Austin

Lauryn is here in Austin with us until after my Mom and Dad come next month!! She and I went to the park/playground in our neighborhood yesterday so take a look at a video we took!

Traveling

Sorry we haven't updated the blog in a while. I am currently traveling for work and will be in McAllen, Texas until the last few weeks of this month. In case you are wondering McAllen is in the valley of Texas right across the Rio Grande from Mexcio!! And it sure does smell like Mexico here!!! and oh yeah, the HEAT!!! Anyway the people are nice and I am working a lot, and trying to understand the Spanish. Ha ha!

So David is at home keeping busy by playing Xbox and hanging out with Matt and Jess waiting for the new baby Blanchard. Also Lauryn and his Mother will be coming to Austin after Father's day, so he will be busy starting next week.
